Easter has passed us by, but there are so many other holidays to consider! Have you considered Valentine’s Day?
Gnomes and Sweethearts
What is sweeter than some sweet tarts with some cute little Gnomes?
Those Gnomes changed costumes and became Leprechauns for St. Patrick’s Day!
The Easter Bunny had a bunch of Easter Eggs that were spread all over!
Many other designs were made as well.
Of course, you can always find new and fun decorations for the fall, with Halloween and Thanksgiving, but also just some fall decorations.
Signs can be 2-sided with Christmas or other holidays on the other side!
Two-sided FALL
And – WINTER
Christmas is my favorite time of year to decorate! I love making the inside AND the outside look special! I can make personalized ornaments for you, or wall hangings; the sky is the limit! I bought an old ladder and added Santa to it, climbing up the chimney!
Another Santa includes one that can be put outside on the porch or in the grass!
Perhaps you’d like a Snowman for inside or outside?
Perhaps an Angel? I can make a scroll to go along with her announcing the Christmas story!
How about a Christmas Tree shelf that you can put a Christmas village on? Add garland and lights, and this could be spectacular!

It’s never too early to start planning for the holidays, so give me some ideas and let’s get started!
Email me: lauriesfundecor@gmail.com and send me some pictures of your ideas!
If you don’t have a lot of wall space, but want to see some of your favorite family pictures, how about a sign like this? Just clip your favorite pictures, and as you get new ones, change them around!
Need more counter space? This covers the stovetop to add more counters!
Personalize it for your kitchen!
The family is coming to visit, and there’s no place to put their luggage!
How about one of these?
It’s time to start planting your garden, but what happens when the harvest comes in? How about a Harvest Basket?
Do you have a Harry Potter fan at your house? Do they collect wands?
Time to relax and have a beer, or maybe try a few different types of beer or wine. These make great gift ideas!
It’s almost Christmas – Time to start shopping! How about these gift ideas?

Over the past few years, I’ve started working with wood. Since I was new to this, I didn’t plan on ever selling anything, but as time has progressed, so have my skills and ideas. The things that I make are for decoration, whether indoor or outdoor. I thought that I would start putting ideas out there to sell. So, if you’d like something like anything you see below, write me an email: lauriesfundecor@gmail.com.
I’ve started branding my projects:

TIME TO GET CREATIVE!
One day, driving through our neighborhood, I saw a sign on someone’s porch; it was a ‘Happy Birthday’ sign. I thought that it was a good idea and that I could probably make something like it. So I went home, did some brainstorming, then made a two-sided birthday cupcake (male and female sides) with numbers that can be changed. I’ve made some other birthday signs too. Each with numbers that can be changed.
DOLLHOUSE
I have grandchildren, so I wondered if I could make the girls a dollhouse. This was tricky and definitely a learning experience. How many popsicle sticks were broken and glued as shingles? Hard to say! I decided also, since they were still very young, that I’d make furniture too, so it wouldn’t break easily.
CAN’T FORGET THE GRANDSONS!
Well, then the grandsons asked me to make them something. The oldest had a robot that was broken, and he had made some very creative additions to it, but its head was missing, and it wouldn’t stand up, so he asked me if I could fix it. As you can see, there were straws, paintbrushes, a foam dart, a clip, and ribbons. I think a toothpaste top was taped onto the top as a makeshift head. I loved it. But my grandson wanted me to fix it, so…
TIME FOR A NEW ROBOT
With some paint and wood, I created new legs and a new head. I used the old paintbrush that he had and made a pink lightsaber, and also made a rocket pack that attached to his back.
Then, of course, the other grandson wanted a robot too. I made it from scratch.
HARRY POTTER WAND HOLDER!
After these projects, I was asked to make a wand holder for Harry Potter wands. I have never watched Harry Potter, so I knew nothing of it. So this was going to be a challenge. I conducted extensive research and then discovered something that looked promising, so I sketched it out and found that it turned out rather well. I put enough hooks on the holder for many wands!
CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
It’s time to start making Christmas gifts and Christmas decor. I typically visit stores, browse online, or flip through magazines to gather ideas. Then I design the decor or gifts from scratch.
What’s Christmas without a Santa Claus?
This one stands about three feet tall, and I drilled holes in its boots to put large, long bolts through so that it could be put outside in the grass, and the bolts would go into the ground. Or it could just stand on the porch.
Christmas Decor
I then found an old ladder at a salvage yard. So, I made a Santa Claus who is climbing up the ladder. Since he is indoors, I used cotton on his beard and felt that on his red suit.
My dad likes old cars, so I made this for Dad!
This is approximately 3 feet tall
Since my brother REALLY likes Jeeps, I had to make him one.
With the artificial tree on top, it stands taller than the red car.
I’ve made an Angel
Angel – I also made an announcement scroll with this.
A Christmas Tree Shelf so that a Christmas village could be displayed on it.
This one folds for storage. Lights & garland can be added for a festive look.
A ‘Virginia’ beer tasting board. I also made an Ohio board (no image available)
I made a small trains. Some are personalized.
This sign was made to put snapshots of the family.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER HOLIDAYS?
After decorating for Christmas, I decided that I wanted to start putting decorations outside for all the holidays and seasons. I had to get busy because Valentine’s Day came up quickly.
Valentine gnomes and sweethearts
After doing gnomes for Valentine’s Day, I made more gnomes for St. Patrick’s Day. Of course, there had to be a ‘Pot o’ Gold’ too!
So, now we are getting ready for Easter and Springtime. First Easter:
And the Easter Bunny has to have eggs to hide. So here are some eggs, too.
By the way, all of these outdoor decorations currently attach to fence posts that get inserted into the ground. I also make them hang or attach them to a post to stand on the porch.
Springtime means flowers and birdies, to me. So, I made some flowers and birds. The flowers are going to be put together like a bouquet. The birds are going to attach to the vinyl on the white house.
Each flower is made separately and can be displayed individually.
The Robin needs a nest. The bluebird needs to diet or lay that egg.
I did make a very LARGE, two-sided stacked pumpkin with a snowman on the opposite side.
This year, I made a smaller version that is able to hang.
This Snowman is made for the indoors.
I have made some ‘Welcome’ signs that can be two-sided for different seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). This just shows the Fall side, but I had Poinsettia’s on the other side for Christmas.
So, if you’ve made it to the end of this post: THANK YOU. Please give me some feedback or contact me with an order – LauriesFunDecor@gmail.com.
